The opportunity

A first rally. A reason to return.

Bring visible squash and first-hit opportunities into a central London setting. A two-court concept could combine demonstrations with beginner, school, community, wheelchair and adapted-play sessions, with an onward route to existing clubs and coaching.

Shaped by the community

An initial concept has been sent to the Oxford Street Development Corporation to ask about the relevant process and whether the proposal could fit its public-realm and activation work. This remains a Squash Dog proposal, with no confirmed authority response, precise site, date or sporting partnership.

We want to hear from people who may not already play, alongside existing coaches and clubs. New activity should complement local provision and valued public space.

Initial pavilion concept shared

An initial two-court showcase and participation concept was sent to the Oxford Street Development Corporation, asking about its process and programme fit. The proposal includes welcoming community sessions and adapted play. No site, date, authority endorsement or delivery agreement is confirmed.

Help shape the next step

Bring your local knowledge.

Schools, community groups, clubs and businesses can help us understand what people need and how a first activity could work.

You can share feedback, discuss possible involvement, suggest a host or explore sponsorship. An expression of interest helps shape the conversation; it does not commit you or your organisation to a programme.

Business and delivery

Support a useful programme

Businesses can explore funded access, equipment, coaching or practical expertise. We will develop a costed proposal around community priorities and continuing participation, with capital and running costs considered separately.
