Let’s Bounce: Quindío

Outdoor squash in Quindío

A regional opportunity in Quindío, with the municipality, host and community to be defined through local discussion.

No site, funding or delivery agreement is confirmed. Organisation engagement is an early conversation, not an endorsement or agreed partnership.

The opportunity

A first rally. A reason to return.

Explore where a locally led squash programme could broaden participation across a defined Quindío community. Schools, universities, clubs and community groups could help shape introductions and continuing play around local priorities.

Shaped by the community

The federation named Quindío as an area to explore. The Universidad del Quindío documents an existing regional squash-development background, which should inform research rather than be treated as a host commitment. Quindío is a department; no city or venue has been chosen.

We want to hear from people who may not already play, alongside existing coaches and clubs. New activity should complement local provision and valued public space.

The discussion so far

Four locations identified for exploration

The Colombian federation has suggested assessing Bogotá, Medellín, Quindío and Cali, with broader community access as a priority. One court in Bogotá and a second elsewhere is an option to discuss. An exploratory call and initial site shortlist are the next steps; no site, court allocation, funding or delivery is agreed.

Help shape the next step

Bring your local knowledge.

Schools, community groups, clubs and businesses can help us understand what people need and how a first activity could work.

You can share feedback, discuss possible involvement, suggest a host or explore sponsorship. An expression of interest helps shape the conversation; it does not commit you or your organisation to a programme.

Business and delivery

Support a useful programme

Businesses can explore funded access, equipment, coaching or practical expertise. We will develop a costed proposal around community priorities and continuing participation, with capital and running costs considered separately.

Squash Dog is operated by Fagan Consulting Limited, a commercial company. No project-specific fund or sponsorship package is agreed on this page.
